As a young man, Tevye experienced the shocking events that took place during the Cataclysm. He saw the damage wrought by the great dragon, Deathwing, and was spurred into action. He immediately went to his local Alliance Army Recruiter in Goldshire and signed up with dreams of being a hero, of finding great and powerful relics to aid the Alliance, and of earning riches enough to build a house with one long stairway going up, one even longer coming down, and one going nowhere just for show.
Tevye figured that, as a religious man, serving in the order of the Paladins would be perfect for him. But after a time, he found that frequent defeats at the hands of such tiny creatures like Kobolds and Gnolls began to create a burning frustration in him. One of the paladins in the great city of Stormwind, Grayson Shadowbreaker, then told him of the paths of their order. One could follow the path of the healer, keeping friends and allies alive with powerful healing magic. Alternatively, there was the path of the protector, where the paladin would wield great protective magic to deflect incoming blows and magic. Finally, the path of retribution, in which a paladin would become the fire hammer of doom for all evil in his way.
Tevye shed his sword and shield, and grasped the mighty hammer Foe Reaper he had claimed in the Deadmines, his path chosen even before Grayson had finished describing his duties. Now, while he seeks to help those in need and do the other good works of a paladin, he uses his fury as a weapon of the Alliance. Already, he has carved a searing path of justice through the Elwynn Forrest and Westfall, conquered dragons in Redridge, brought down liches and undead abominations in Duskwood, and has barreled headlong into the strange and mystical jungles of Stranglethorn.
How far will his fury take him?

A baby of only two, Lynareth was orphaned during the fall of Gnomeregan, both her parents burned alive by the ancient menace Thermaplugg. She was raised by an older couple who survived the siege hiding in the invisible room they had built in their home. They were kind and raised her well, but she has never forgotten the pain of losing her family, and she works tirelessly for the Alliance and High Tinker Gelbin Mekkatorque in their respective quests.
She has a keen mind and incredible self-discipline and was a perfect fit as a mage. She uses waves of arcane power to bring down the enemies of her beloved leader. Having proven herself with outstanding performance on small quests in Dun Morogh, she will soon be on her way to Ironforge, to take on larger and more dangerous missions.
A newly minted member of the Cognitive Dissonance Guild, she waits impatiently for the day she can raid with them and defeat the enemies she so wishes to defeat.
What awaits her there? Only time will tell...

In a small shack on the edge of the Redrige Mountains, Sparrohawk was raised by a man he only knew as "Father." They lived a quiet existence, taking what they needed from the land and giving back to it when they could. Father taught Sparro how to play with light and flame. Sparro assumed that everyone knew how to light a fire through will and a few words.
One day, when Sparro was in his teen years, he came back from gathering herbs to find his Father slumped at the door to their one-room cabin, an arrow through his chest. On that day, Sparrohawk left his peaceful life and trekked through the Elwynn Forest to seek out the owner of the arrow whose fletchings make up the necklace that he wars as a sign of his grief and his vengeance. He searches for his unknown foe, using his skill with light and fire to help others and illuminate his path.
Quaid Kai was born in Northshire Valley to Sahray Kai the blacksmith, and Allron Kai the archeologist. His parents, being prominent professionals in their respective fields, expected Quaid to follow in their footsteps choosing a profession that would keep him safely within the walls of Northshire.
Quaid never expected to deviate from this path. However, he started to notice that an evil was beginning to permeate everything he saw. It had always been there, but as he grew older he began to notice the never-ending supply of bandits, wolves, spies and other villainy that infested everything he knew. Before long, every jaunt he took away from Northshire, he was fighting or running for his life from all sorts of riffraff. After seeing one too many Northshire Guards cut down in futile battle Quaid realized that he just could not look the other way and choose a safe profession.
This is when Quaid decided to join the ranks of the Rangers, hunters that learned the cross bow, trained animal companions and did their best to rid Azeroth of all that is evil. Quaid Kai, being the type to just "jump right in", really had very little concept or knowledge of the history of Azeroth. He had heard of the Horde, but only recently learned, when looking into his roots, that his kind, the humans, had a long lasting feud with the orcs, it was also quite a surprise to him then to learn that in the not-so-distant past humans and orcs worked together against a common foe.
Quaid is determined to make the world a better place, and to learn his place in it and in it's history along the way.
My name is Dragonetta and I arrived at Master Shang Xi’s academy in the year of the Dragon. Someday I hope to become a skilled mage and teleport around the world! I really love to travel. My first adventures were on the wandering isle, which is really a big turtle named Shen-zin Su.
On the isle, my friends Aysa, Ji, and I brought four spirits back to a big temple. First Huo, the spirit of fire, had to be relit. I played a game with Shu, the spirit of the water, and he became my friend. Then Shu helped us wake up Wugou, the spirit of the earth. Dafeng, the spirit of the air, was the last spirit to get to the temple because he was in the chamber of whispers. He was scared to come out because of the onyx dragon, so Ji and I used fireworks to kill the beast!
After that, Aysa and I decided to join the Alliance. We traveled to Stormwind and met with the king in his tower. So now I am looking forward to new adventures in Stormwind.
I'm thrilled to see you embracing the lore of the Mists.... and I'm also relieved to know you've made it to Stormwind as that was the biggest deterrent to my "allowing" and race choice! It's rarely a good thing to limit choices, eh? Or..it it?

Cirilia was born after the fall of Gnomeregan. Her mother fled the city to seek refuge in a near the dwarf village of Karanos. In her early teen years, she began to learn about alchemy and powers that are held within the plants around Dun Morugh.
Cirilia now seeks out the plants and healing potions held within. She hopes to be able to save many people during great battles. Her abilities are small now, but her pride and ambitions are large. As she wanders the world searching for trainers and new plants, she wants to befriend strangers and great individuals within Cognitive Dissonance, if only she could find some of them.Cirilia! Syeomcha was a happy cub. He lived with his huge family with many brothers, sisters, cousins, and neighbors whom he thought of as family. Their village was prosperous and peaceful. His parents farmed the rice paddies and bamboo groves for their village in the eastern part of the Wandering Isle. Syeomcha could have easily grown to be a farmer like his parents but from a young age he behaved as one who wanted more.
As a cub Syeomcha was always wandering and looking for trouble… er, adventure. Whether it was testing the limits of his village and getting lost or trying to help the grown ups fend off virmen that were much taller and stronger than he, Syeomcha was always getting himself into trouble. Of course, Syeomcha always saw it as the most exciting adventure. Even as his parents looked upon him with a worried eye Syeomcha couldn't contain the glee he felt within. Even though Syeomcha was the troublemaker of the village his father knew he was destined for more than farming.
When Syeomcha was old enough his father, Xian-Ji, took him on a trip. Syeomcha was ecstatic. So happy to be going on a grand adventure he didn't even realize that his mother was crying when he kissed her goodbye.
"Mother is over reacting again," thought Syeomcha as he set off with his father to go farther from his village than ever before. Maybe his father would know the way back, Syeomcha thought, because he was sure to get lost.
As Syeomcha and his father approached the Academy Syeomcha asked, "Is that the training Academy father?"
Xian-Ji stopped to face his son. "Yes, Syeomcha. You are destined for great things. Your mother and I have known for a long time that you are not meant to be a farmer. At the academy you can learn to harness your strength and use it for good. Know always that we are proud of you," Xian-Ji told his son as tears swelled in his eyes, putting his hands on Syeomcha's shoulders and squeezing them gently.
Syeomcha's eyes teared for he knew that leaving the Wandering Isle means you are never to return. Never again to see his parents, his brothers, his sisters, his cousins, his neighbors, or his village. Even though the thought of leaving his home forever tore at his heart, Syeomcha knew, from within that very same tearing heart, that he had to leave. He had to see what was out there. He had to chase his destiny whatever that may be.
With a final hug and an exchange of I love you's Syeomcha's father turned and headed back home. A home Syeomcha would never see again. At the same excited and saddened Syeomcha turned to the hill before him and made his way to the Academy.
Born into the Night Elf family, raised in the glades of Shadowglen, I am Farel, Night Elf Druid in training.
As a young child I frolicked with my friends under the shelter of the great tree, learning the secrets of nature which could be found in the forests in which I roamed at will. With the knowledge that attacks made upon our homeland caused some of our eldar to become corrupt, and the fell beasts to spawn unencumbered, I have been called to learn the ways of the wild in order to defend myself, my friends and my home. My trainers challenge me to maintain the balance and harmony of nature for the good of all.
I have been blessed with the wit and knowledge required to become a specialised druid and stand at the beginning of a crossroads in choosing my path. Should I choose the path for Balance, Feral, Guardian or Restoration? I must spend time deep in contemplation and choose wisely!
