Show off your app here. You can post a picture of your app or video of your-app-in-action. Share also your QR Code so others can play and test your app. :)

So I tweaked this a bit. Rather than fixed sizes the dots and lines can be made bigger or smaller. I set the example dot (a button) to the height and width of the current size, as well as changing the color to the current color.

Then just to make sure everything stays wysiwyg, when we need sizes or colors I take them from the example dot (ensuring the program does what the user thinks it will)

Also the picture I used worked better in landscape. I started to work with the sensor to make it flip automatically, then remembered I wanted to get to the next quest sometime today.

Nice customization on the increasing/decreasing sizes of dots and lines. Care to share the blocks with your fellow inventors?
I also like you use Dropbox instead of Google Site to get the link for creating your QR Code.

You need a URL for loading a picture. Try Photobucket. You can upload pix and they provide you with a URL. Then click on the image link, add your URL for your picture, and you are all set!

QR code Right click to open in new tab.

Image of app at website- you may have to scroll down the page a little bit. Again, right click and open in new tab if you don't want this to wipe out this page.

I don't have an image of it in action b/c I'm not on the computer at the moment that has Camtasia- I can do a 2nd reply if you want a demo of the app.

This was fun! Challenging, but fun.

I completed PaintPot! I got a little confused when I was testing it at the end and drawing lines but expecting it to be a larger dot size, then I realized the dot size is just for pressing the dot.

Here's the QR code:

I'm not exactly how to emulate the phone on my computer in order to take a screenshot. I can run it on my phone and likewise, don't know how to take a screenshot from my computer to share as an image. ANy suggestions?

After I took this picture I added an eraser tool to the bottom buttons panel. I spent a good amount of time trying to figure out how to change the size of the lines to no avail. I guess this is just too new for me.

Here is the download link PaintPot2

It seems we can't see your QR Code?
Might want to double-check your URL.

Try Google search. in most cases you'll find the answer you need.

I am really pleased with how this second app went! First of all, I was able to connect my phone properly, so I could create and download the app right onto my phone. Also, I noticed that you can upload an image for buttons, so I grabbed some public domain button images from Open Clip Art Library and used those after tweaking the size.

I made both my little and big dots bigger, size 5 and 12, I think. And I figured out how to change the line width. There is a block for Line Width that you can add to your Draw Line block. I think it is in the Drawing Canvas drawer. I followed what we did for dot size and made a global variable called line. My sizing buttons determine both dot size and line width. Although I used my phone while creating the app, I went back afterwards and reconnected using an emulator so I could take a screenshot. (Clicked on New Emulator in the Blocks Editor and did Reset Connection or something like that. Then I could select the emulated phone.)

And here's my QR code. I have not been able to use my first QR code for HelloPurr to download it to my phone. It just says "Loading..." in the URL field of my browser. I'd be interested in whether my codes work for anyone else. Is the problem my phone or the QR codes or where I've hosted my file (Wikispaces).

I made mine as a face painter, so the canvas background is just an oval. I also decided to use the phone emulator as I want to teach this in school and I anticipate them using the emulator more than a phone.

It's great to know you plan to teach AI at school.

For my app I put a grid in the background to assist in your drawing. It was amazing to see how all the variables connected, and also how fast it was to build. This just gets better and better.

Anyone know how I can make the app fill the whole vertical screen? I tried the automatic and the fill parent vertical. All that did was push the button off the bottom of the visual page.
