This one was definitely easier! Maybe because I didn't need a phone? The only thing that didn't work well was the sound effect I put in for the noise. It's possible that my sound effect was too long for the interval?

Okay I went a little overboard with this one. I actually moved an invisible sprite to random places on the screen, moved the visible one to the previous location and pointed it at where it was going next.
Obviously I made it move faster with a better score. I also made it smaller as your score got higher, with a minimum size.
I moved the label and button on to the canvas to get a bigger canvas to work with. I did this by make the button a ball sprite. This actually was important because at the higher levlelsof the game the reset button wasn't firing before the next clock interval fired again. The speed of the sprite response seems to have solved this problem.

Anyways I had fun.

This app totally cracks me up! I had so much fun making this app and trying to play it. You made an adorable mole and I just find it hilarious seeing it hop across the screen. Too funny. Ok, so here are images and links and all that fun stuff:

I hope you had as much fun as I have because we all deserve a good laugh.

Here is my Mole Mash game. I changed the look a bit to Catch the Ferret.

This was my favorite one yet! I spent awhile on it.

Features include:
Decreasing the clock interval with every score
Background changes to a random color on score
Game over label and sound display when you run out of energy
A restart button that sets energy back to 100 and interval back to 1000 and hides game over label and button.

It is a fully functioning game now. All I need to to add a high score. After doing the No texting app I think I could do that with a tinydb.

Good luck beating 19.

I had to play with this one a while partially because there are a lot of instructions based on different versions.
Went with a hit and miss counter, vibrate and a "splat" image when you hit the stinkbug. I based this off the invasion of stinkbugs in my house right now.
It was fun to make a "real" game. I want to play with it some more as far as if it could be modified to flash cards or even having a problem appear and then tap the correct answer. Lots to play around with.

Cool! You were a bit more brave than me... Well done! Love the squish! One bug (no pun intended...) that I noticed with these games is that, if you are fast, you can get multiple "hits" on the sprite before it shifts. I wonder how we could fix that....

Fun customization!
However, I did find a way to easily increase my "Hits" counts--hitting the "blood stain" imagesprite.
After successfully hitting the moving bug one time, you could repeatedly tap the blood stain to get points. Since that imagesprite won't move at all, it quickly became some source of easy points (so the discourage players to pursue the but).
You might want to look into that, such as making the imagesprite disappear soon after it showed up, or remove associated hit count.

Fun music on a working app!
I would recommend you add a button (and associated blocks) to allow players turning off the music if they want to and/or another button to quic the game. The music kept playing even after I close the app.

This seemed like the first app we made that seemed logical to change sounds. Anyway, I jsut stumbled across this treasure trove of Creative Commons-licensed sounds for games. Enjoy!
