Provide a link to your App Design Proposal. It can be a link to a document file you stored on some server.
You can also upload your proposal file to Google Docs and post the link to your document here. If you are using Google Docs, remember to change your "Share" settings (top-right corner) to "Anyone with the link" so we can see it.

I am pretty sure this will be far more complicated than I can do myself if it is possible at all. Any help would be appreciated.

App Proposal

I've already started working on my Music Note identification app. My note will need to jump to several y axis coordinates that are pre-defined, but I want them to jump to those possible coordinates at random. I need it to function this way because music notes have a specific place on the staff for identification, and I obviously don't won't to make note locations predictable. I'm having trouble figuring out how to do this.

For example, the following is an A

The next image could be an A or a G because it is neither directly between two lines, nor does the a line cut the note directly in half.

Any help would be appreciated!

I don't know what I'm doing. I think I need to rethink the app because all I have at the moment is a mess. I can make a pretty screen, but I have no clue how to put the blocks together.

So this is my proposal. You'll want to right click to open in new tab. If this does not open, let me know- it is in my BSU google docs acct.

So you can see the tinkering I've done. I am so clueless at the moment.

I am totally open to suggestions.

The Google doc does not have the images so I saved it as a doc and uploaded it. It does have the flow chart images in it.

Please "Complete" this quest so you can get approval and unlock to the other quests.

Regarding using TinyDB for your app, you can consider doing a Google search for "app inventor csv list".
You might find something that applies to your context.

I'm still getting the hang of how the quests work- for some reason I was thinking all of our info about our "original" app goes here. Thank you for coaching me through the routine.

I made an executive decision and for now I'm "wimping" out and am following another video guide to learn more about block features. I eventually want to do the sig fig app, but I think I need to learn some more features about which block to choose when.

So for my mini-original app, I'm having an image appear when a button is clicked. I would eventually like to figure out how to get more than one image to show- perhaps timed in a succession or showing a new image from a list every time a button is clicked.

I'll submit this quest to see what comes next. I may still come back here for ideas about planning an app.

Thanks!

Melissa

This is mine. It isn't very education oriented, but I can use it on students later if it works out. Suggestions or ideas are appreciated.

Your adventure-type of app is fun. I want to play it myself!
The current app behavior flow is great, although more details for each app would be better.
Also, for the app component map, it would be a good idea to sketch out each app's interface and specify the components for each app.

This is a neat idea for a utility app!
I like your detailed flowchart. It would be great if you can have some sketches to help people visualize your vision.
I look forward to your actual design!

Nice initial effort!
A few observation/recommendations:
-Give a name for your app;
-On the component section, you could provide some sketch of your planned interface/layout;
-On the app behavior flowchart, you could use arrows to indicate the direction of "flow"

Dr. Hsu

I got stuck on AI:6 for awhile because one of the components didn't work on my phone. Now, I'm stuck at AI:7 because I having a difficult time thinking of an App I want to create. Will I still be able to access the Quest after the camp closes? I'd love to finish, but it's going to take me some time to think of something I want to develop
